FASTTOO Variation Editor uses prepaid credits for confirmed variation-name updates. You can fetch a listing and preview a rename for free. One credit is consumed only after the app verifies a successful rename with eBay.
This guide explains how to buy credits, find an unfinished checkout and avoid paying for more packages than you intended.
Step 1: Open Buy Credits
Sign in to the FASTTOO account that should receive the credits, then open Buy Credits in the seller menu.
Review the packages currently shown. Each package displays its credit quantity and price. Use the current price on the purchase screen rather than an old screenshot or saved checkout for a different package.
Step 2: Review your package
- Choose an available payment method.
- Select Review package for the package you want.
- Check the quantity, total price and payment information.
- Read and accept the confirmation shown before continuing.
Only payment methods currently enabled for your account are offered. If card payments are unavailable, do not send money using instructions from another website or a previous purchase.
Step 3: Complete the card checkout
When card payments are enabled, select Pay by Debit or Credit Card and continue through the review to Stripe’s checkout page.
Check the package, amount and payment details before paying. Completing a package review or merely opening Stripe does not add credits.
Credits are added automatically after the app receives and verifies successful payment confirmation. Returning to the dashboard alone is not proof that the payment succeeded.
Step 4: Check Purchases and your balance
Open Purchases to find the purchase record. Use Refresh purchases or Check payment status, where available, to retrieve the latest outcome.
After payment has been verified and credits allocated, check your available balance. If the page still shows a processing or uncertain result, check the existing purchase rather than paying again.
What if I leave checkout without paying?
An unpaid purchase can remain in Purchases after you close Stripe or return to the dashboard. Leaving the page does not necessarily cancel or expire its payment link.
For an eligible unpaid Stripe purchase, the app may offer:
- Resume checkout: return to the existing checkout and complete that purchase.
- Check payment status: ask for the latest result before deciding what to do.
- Cancel unpaid checkout: request cancellation of that specific unpaid checkout.
The actions shown depend on the purchase status and whether payments are currently enabled.
Can I choose a new package instead?
Yes, when the earlier checkout is known to be unpaid and the app allows another purchase. You can choose a new package without completing the old checkout first.
The earlier checkout remains a separate purchase. Its link may still accept payment until Stripe confirms that it has expired. Paying both checkouts buys both packages.
To avoid an unwanted extra purchase, cancel any old unpaid checkout you no longer intend to use and check the outcome.
How to cancel an unpaid checkout
- Open Purchases and find the correct package and purchase reference.
- Select Cancel unpaid checkout, if offered.
- Read the confirmation and check that it refers to the purchase you want to cancel.
- Confirm that you want to cancel only this checkout, then select Cancel this checkout.
- Read the result and check the payment status if it is not yet confirmed.
The app asks Stripe to expire the unpaid checkout. The purchase stays in your history, and other purchases are not cancelled.
This is not a refund action. If payment already succeeded, or completes before cancellation takes effect, the purchase can still be recorded as paid and its credits added once. Do not assume a cancellation request proves that a payment was prevented.
Why am I asked to recover the same purchase?
A purchase attempt may be recorded even when the app cannot yet confirm whether Stripe created its checkout. You may see Recover same purchase or a message that payment is processing or needs checking.
What to do: recover that same attempt or check its status in Purchases. Wait for the result before starting another payment. Do not switch to a manual transfer to work around an uncertain card payment.
This safety check is different from an ordinary unpaid checkout that is already known and can be resumed or cancelled.
Why does Stripe show a different email?
New checkouts use your verified app email as a default where available. However, Stripe’s saved-payment service, such as Link, may recognize a different payment profile already signed in on your browser.
Your saved payment-profile email is separate from your FASTTOO login. Review the checkout details before paying. Use the checkout’s option to change the saved payment profile or pay without it if offered.
Resuming an older checkout reuses that purchase; it does not necessarily replace the email or saved profile displayed there. Do not create another payment solely to fix an email while an earlier payment outcome remains uncertain.
The purchase remains associated with the FASTTOO account that created it. A different receipt or saved-payment email does not transfer credits to another app account.
What if manual payment is offered?
If your account is offered a manual payment option, follow the instructions saved for that specific purchase and quote its unique payment reference.
Creating a manual purchase or reporting a transfer does not add credits. An administrator must verify actual payment receipt before allocating them.
If manual payment is not offered, do not assume it is available. Never pay both a card checkout and a manual request for the same intended purchase without checking their status.
I paid, but my credits have not appeared
- Check that you are signed in to the FASTTOO account that created the purchase.
- Open Purchases and use the available refresh or status-check action.
- Read the purchase result and any credit-allocation message.
- If the payment remains unresolved, contact support with the purchase reference, package, amount, payment date and status shown.
Do not pay again just because the balance has not refreshed. Keep your payment confirmation, but hide private information in screenshots. Never share full card details, passwords, verification codes, access tokens or publishing keys.
How buying credits differs from using credits
A package purchase adds paid credits only after verified payment. A listing rename then uses credits separately:
- Fetching and previewing are free.
- Confirming a rename reserves a credit.
- A verified successful rename consumes it.
- A definitive failure releases the reservation.
- An uncertain rename outcome may keep the credit reserved while it is checked.
An unpaid checkout does not itself reserve a rename credit. Cancelling an unpaid checkout does not reverse a listing change or refund a completed payment.
